Our clients are a leading professional multi-disciplinary building consultancy operating from a network of offices throughout the UK. As they continue to expand their Cost Consultancy division, they are now looking for a Senior/Associate Quantity Surveyor to become a key part of the team in their Birmingham office to enhance and support the main business growth plans.

For the right person, this is an opportunity to develop and grow with the business as the lead QS in the office, working closely alongside with the QS team in London and Birmingham. They are offering a competitive salary up to £60K plus package with excellent opportunities for fast career progression, learning and development support.

The Role will involve:
- Pre-contract duties (Feasibility Estimate, Cost Planning, Procurement Advice, Tendering, Contract Documents)
- Post-contract duties (Valuations, Agreement of Variations, Cost Reporting and Agreement of Final Account)
- Good knowledge of all contracts including JCT and NEC suites
- Business Development including networking of Cost consultancy in Birmingham area
- Aid in the expansion of the Cost Consultancy Service Line in the Midlands
- Assisting with proposals and submissions for the Midlands region

Qualifications/Experience:
- BSc Quantity Surveying (minimum of 2:1)
- MRICS qualified
- Must have experience in the Commercial, Residential & Logistical sectors
- Must be a good team player but able to work independently
- Confident, client facing communicator both verbally and in writing
- Commercially focussed
- Capable of developing contacts to win new business
- Socially adept and ability to network at business development events
- Leadership qualities to assist in both team and office growth
- Be involved in creating successful new and existing client relationships through networking and business development
