Based at Cray, Sidcup, Kent, DA14 5HU or West Ham Lane E15

Business travel to properties and office locations across London and the South East will be necessary and there will be some flexibility to work from other L&Q offices.

Salary from £44,000 upwards plus £1,300pa Essential Car User Allowance

L&Q is seeking skilled and experienced Building Surveyors to join the Trust’s Building Surveying team. You will manage a range of improvement works, commissioning and managing a team of consultants to deliver site specific works.

You will have a wide range of specialist skills including building surveying, project management and budgetary control.  You will be a self-motivated, professional individual who is able to communicate and influence working with a wide range of stakeholders.

We have a broad programme of projects and would welcome applicants who are working towards or have already achieved MRICs/ MCIOB.

Car owner/ driver is essential.

To be shortlisted you must be able to clearly demonstrate the following:-

• Excellent building surveying skills and knowledge of construction methods, building control, planning applications and contract law
• Experience of managing contractors and consultants to deliver within budgets and timescales
