Associate Director (Planning)

Joshua Robert Recruitment is currently working with a national consulting group.  Having started their journey as a planning and development consultancy, the practice has consistently grown and now consists of Town Planning, Architecture/ Master Planning and Urban Design through to Transport Design teams.

Due to continued expansion, there is now an exciting opportunity for an Associate Director to join their growing Planning team (based in their Rugby office).  You will be leading on projects, supporting Directors and managing the workload of junior staff members.

As an Associate Director, you will manage several existing relationships whilst also developing your own client base. You will be working on development plan/policy along with development management and appeal work.

To be considered for this position, you will have experience planning policy or development management.  Experience in preparing and presenting evidence to hearings, inquiries or examinations in public would be an advantage (but not essential).  It is important that you are motivated to deliver an excellent service with a natural ability to develop good working relationships with clients and key stakeholders.  You will thrive in an environment where you can make a real contribution to the prosperity of the company and of yourself.
