Now we are recruiting forward-thinking and innovative professionals who’ll place Property and Asset Management at the heart of the council’s broader organisational change agenda. 

As the authority’s lead CPO specialist, you will manage the development and performance of the Compulsory Purchase team, allocating and overseeing caseloads and prioritising work according to the Council’s priorities and needs. 

You will lead, support and develop the Compulsory Purchase team so they are able to provide a professional and timely service. All the while establishing and nurturing productive working relationships with different stakeholders and implementing actions to maximize income from affected property assets. You will also ensure no actions are taken which prejudice the exercise of statutory acquisition powers.

About you

As a qualified surveyor, you will have experience of establishing and managing client reporting structures and delivering a client led approach.

As well as this, you will have management experience and be well versed in objective setting, staff reviews, performance management and managing budgets.
