Quality Inspector - Semi Home Based

A Quality Inspector is needed to join the Development team of a large housing provider. You'll be responsible for overseing the Quality Standards of New Homes delivered to customers throughout all stages of the build process.

You'll need to be confident in dealing with customers face to face and resolving issues customers raise, ensuring that the customer is aware of all solutions available. You must also be able to liaise with contractors, specialist sub-contractors, residents and in-house teams.

This appointment will require a combination of both site and office based activity and mainly cover a patch in north London. You'll need a full driving licence and have access to a vehicle on a daily basis as this role requires the post holder to be mobile (travelling to various sites). You will receive a £5,500 car allowance and all your travel paid for, which is an excellent benefit.

In addition;

• Excellent understanding of construction process including trades and materials.
• Confident with all the relevant drawings and written instructions, checking them and using them for reference when inspecting work.
• Good attention to detail when checking work is essential.
• You will need to be computer literate and be able input and retrieve data from computer management systems.
• CSCS Card ideally.
• Good understanding of NHBC Standards
• New Build experience. Either in Private or Public Sector.
