Project Manager

THE ROLE

This is an excellent opportunity for a PROJECT MANAGER with good experience n the construction industry who is keen to join a large firm of construction consultants in their office in Glasgow to run your own projects.

You will have the opportunity of working on a range of construction projects representing the client including construction projects for leisure, residential, commercial, education and other projects.

THE CLIENT

The client is a firm of construction consultants with offices across the U.K. and some overseas.

They work on project management and cost management across a range of sectors.

THE CANDIDATE

My client is now seeking a Project Manager to work based from their Glasgow office with visits to site, to client offices etc. as required by the project.

You will need to have gained good construction project management experience having worked for a firm of construction consultants so you will have good front end PM experience right through project delivery.

You should be able to run a construction project from inception to project delivery.

You will need to have a Degree or Diploma in Building Surveying, Quantity Surveying, Construction Project Management, Architecture or Civil / Structural Engineering or similar built environment degree and you may also be RICS or MAPM or similarly qualified.

You will need to have excellent organisation and client facing skills along with being highly computer literate.

Projects are generally from around £5m to over £100m or more.

Salary is very negotiable according to experience and my client will consider intermediate and senior level project managers for this role.
