Building Surveyor

Our client is a market leading real estate investment business that focus on acquisitions and strategic asset management. Having worked with this client for a number of years we have been asked to find a qualified building surveyor!
In this role you can expect to be working remotely from home taking full autonomy of your workload. With an extensive portfolio you will be organising your weekly plan surveying buildings as an experienced and knowledgeable practitioner.
With a diverse range of commercial properties you will be surveying a list of properties, taking charge of essential reactive works, arranging and coordinating expertise and appropriate solutions to rectify any problems with the portfolio.
Operationally you will receive and develop briefs from clients into technical solutions that meet the strategic and commercial needs, including employers requirements, feasibility studies, cost and tender documentation etc. You will manage the valuation and approval of contractors proposals and their subsequent formal contractual appointment.
You will be the focal point of delivery of the services and be responsible for the day to day management of instructed works, ensuring and managing compliance with CDM 2015.
In conjunction with the commercial team you will undertake procurement and negotiation with contractors and suppliers to achieve the best value and performance.
