Building Surveyor

My client specialises in Property Management throughout Sussex in the residential sector. 

They are looking for an experienced Building Surveyor to join the building surveying team provide professional Building Surveying services to Clients and to the business.

You will ideally have experience in the following: 

- Planned Maintenance projects and repair and maintenance works
- Building condition surveys, including roof surveys
- Building defects and report issues, with recommendations
- Schedules of Works and estimate costs
- Write specifications for and tender building works
- Contract Administration on JCT and bespoke building contracts
- Site visits and client liaison 
- Business Development.

To be successful in your application you must be: 

- A qualified Building Surveyor, ideally Chartered MRICS / MCIOB.

- Applications will be considered for a  ARICS / ACIOB Surveyor working towards professional qualification

- Experience in the maintenance of varied types of residential block building types and estates

- Experience in Property Management environment 

- Excellent communication skills with experience in a client facing role

- Ability to work effectively and as part of a team 

- Ability to handle multiple and projects 

- Good technical knowledge of building construction and the identification of common building defects 

- Understanding of all roles and duties under the CDM Regulations

- A full UK driving license and own car for business use is essential
