Senior Consultant - Asset Management

As a senior member of the Asset Management team you will be responsible for liaising closely with clients and facilities contractors in a role with wide ranging responsibilities and scope for development.  You will have a strong building services engineering background (not necessarily through design), good working knowledge of engineering plant and equipment and an understanding of applicable building services standards.

The position will involve undertaking condition and dilapidation surveys on new and old buildings, site inspections, M&E compliance and project management, auditing of contractor performance management, report writing and site meetings.

The ability to win work and develop further business opportunities through relationship building and competitive tendering will also be a key requirement of the role.

KEY RESULT AREAS

  • Ensure projects are delivered to the relevant standards, cost and time
  • Oversee the delivery of non-strategic projects under guidance where required
  • Support the delivery of major projects or a range of smaller ones requiring specialist input
  • Provide day-to-day client interface, conducting site visits for technical assessment or problem solving
  • Report on project progress, risks and issues and ensure that these are highlighted and followed through
  • Develop solutions based on relevant best practice
  • Contribute to the delivery of innovative solutions for clients
  • Ensure that costs are managed and controlled to ensure the achievement of project profitability
