Description

We are seeking a Senior Town Planner to work collaboratively with urban designers, architects, landscape architects and other professionals on a wide variety of exciting, high profile projects. Work is varied and includes planning applications, master plans, environmental impact assessments and providing strategic planning advice for public and private sector clients. This role is very client facing and therefore requires a professional with outstanding communication skills.

Profile

We are looking for a senior planner with substantial experience and a strong technical background in statutory planning work, ideally with experience in consultancy roles. This is a client facing role requiring confident written and verbal communication to deliver planning advice that assists with strategy development, decision-making and problem solving. Candidates must be able to lead complex negotiations with clients, local planning authorities, stakeholders and community groups in order to gain planning permissions
