Chartered Building Surveyor

Interested candidates must be a highly experienced Building Surveyor with experience of working on both public and private sector projects.

Our Client: Independent multi-disciplinary consultancy who have offices throughout the UK working with clients in both the public and private sectors.

Projects: Education, local authority, universities, commercial and retail

Company Headcount: 2000 - 2500

The role of the Chartered Building Surveyor:

• Planned maintenance and improvement schemes on local authority and education projects
• Undertake condition surveys, report writing, party wall awards, dilapidations
• Contract administration and management of refurbishment projects
• Good understanding of standard forms of building contracts such as JCT and NEC.

Requirements of the Chartered Building Surveyor:

• MRICS qualified
• Experience of managing clients with good business development skills
• Sound knowledge of drafting technical documents including bids
• Full understanding of Health and Safety requirements
