Project Manager- Property- 3 days

Local Authority- client facing project manager, property background who has exceptional communication skills

Local Authority property services department have a need for a property professional with excellent project management experience and refined communication skills.


Working along side a large team of property professionals, including building surveyors, estate surveyors,Valuers, Landlord & Tenant, Planners and project managers. Your role will be client facing and you will be tasked with providing solutions, justifying a business case and then project managing these through. Examples could be managing a programme of library conversions to smart libraries, utilising the assets in a different way. Coming up with innovative ideas how to re-locate archives, Museum assets and storage facilities.


You will be engaging directly with the client /corporate landlords and will need to be an excellent communicator and influencer. To have engaging ideas and be confident to advise and lead on projects.
You will have vast experience within the property and construction industry in either development and planning,
building surveying, quantity surveying and project management.
You will confident to review a portfolio of building assets and make recommendations for change of use .Ideally you will have experience of working within the public sector ro have an understanding of governance and the political environment it entails.




This is a temporary role for initially 6 months and ideally 2-3 days per week. It is outside of IR35 regulations. Excellent transport links, free parking and flexible working hours.
