This key position will support the Head of Land and Planning by focusing on the identification, assessment and acquisition developments sites, through agents, vendors and land owners. The post will develop depending on the capacity of the individual and the requirements of the business.

Key responsibilities will include but not be restricted to;

• Seeking out land acquisition and development opportunities
• Appraising and surveying potential schemes
• Leading the planning process & working with externals partners
• Creating, growing and maintaining a network of external partners
• Working closely with the Project Managers to ensure projects progress through to design and production

Profile

My client is looking for a land and planning professional who can demonstrate a strong background acquiring sites and leading the planning process. The ideal candidate will have worked for a Housing Association or Residential Developer. Demonstrate a proven track record executed deals. We also welcome applications with transferable land and planning experience and who can exhibit a strong work ethic and a passion for this opportunity.

Applicants for this role should have:

• Experience in land acquisition
• Experience in leading the planning process
• Confidence in dealing with external partners (planners, local councils, vendors, agents and land owners)
• Experience in regulatory and statutory compliance
• MS Office fluent in Word, Excel, and Project
