The Building Surveying role is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the development of the Council’s property portfolio and project manage a range of schemes including refurbishments, alterations and renovations. You will be a technical officer on all property matters providing professional advice and guidance to an array of stakeholders. You will play an important part of delivering a high quality, efficient and professional building surveying and facilities management service as part of a multi-disciplined team.
We are seeking a Chartered Building Surveyor with current membership of RICS or CIOB and a minimum of two years relevant experience. You will need to have a commercial focus and experience of development, knowledge of health and safety and experience of applying CDM regulations. If you are a talented, energetic individual who can demonstrate self-motivation and the ability to manage complex projects together with a demonstrable track record of delivering results we would welcome an application from you.
