As a member of the Homes England Housing Programmes team you will provide support to the team to deliver new affordable housing across England. You’ll have excellent knowledge about affordable housing including the programmes and products Homes England funds.

You’ll use your skills on strategy, creativity, analysis and influencing to work with a wide ranging set of internal and external partners (including Homes England teams, Government Departments, Registered Providers, local authorities and developers) to develop and implement policy, programmes and products to meet Government ambitions to increase affordable housing delivery.

You’ll also use your skills to monitor and protect historical grant and manage teams and people across the country.

You’ll also provide advice and clarity on Homes England’s policies and requirements in connection with affordable housing and historical grant including our Capital Funding Guide and Grant Recovery processes. Finally, you’ll be an excellent communicator drafting and presenting high quality briefings and reports to diverse audiences.

Homes England is the new national housing agency, recently launched to play a major role in fixing the housing market and enabling delivery of homes that our country needs.
