The Guildhall is our Head Office that also provides a world class venue that plays host to a broad array of events and functions and welcomes royalty, politicians, dignitaries and people from across the globe. It is also the administration hub for the Corporation with over 1500 colleagues in occupation.

The Operations Group, who deliver the facilities management function across the City of London property portfolio(s), are looking for a Building and Hospitality Manager to be responsible for delivering the hard and soft facilities management and hospitality services across the Guildhall complex.

The role is split into 2 distinct areas and will take charge to provide world class services to the large Guildhall complex.

The role is responsible for overseeing traditional FM provision for example; all building repairs and maintenance (planned and reactive), co-ordinate the cyclical maintenance activity, cleaning and any associated soft services.  The day to day upkeep of the various buildings that make up the complex.

In addition, the delivery of hospitality services to support an extensive and high-profile event programme, look after the elected Members accommodation including committee rooms and bedrooms, a staff restaurant and associated hospitality services.

The current delivery model is a mix of both in house and outsourced services that you will be managing.

About You

This is a role for an individual confident in holding a position with a high profile, working closely with a wide range of senior stakeholders. You will have experience of delivering a world class service in a facilities and hospitality management capacity and bring with you outstanding customer service skills. You will have an understanding of how to work in a large, complex, political organisation and still be able to deliver the service required.
