Town Planning Director

A great opportunity has arisen for a Director level Town Planner to join an expanding consultancy in Bedfordshire. This firm have an excellent reputation in the market and you will be joining an established team of friendly and supportive professionals.

This role offers the chance to work on a broad spectrum of projects including residential, mixed-use and commercial schemes as the team are very active in all of these project areas. However, at Director level you will be expected to contribute to the firm's client base with contacts and clients of your own. You will have the support of an established team and very competent junior staff to assist you on projects. Your duties will include (but are not limited to); providing expert planning advice to a range of clients; business development activities; mentoring, managing and training junior staff members; leading on often large and complex projects; managing external consultant teams. The successful candidate will be able to manage competing demands on their time and to prioritise tasks accordingly for themselves and others. They will have a flexible attitude towards working hours, will be self-motivated and will have a good team spirit. Previous management experience is advantageous.
