CAD Technician

I have been to meet with the Managing Director of an ambitious business in Preston who are seeking to make the permanent appointment of a CAD Technician to join their current CAD team.

Your new company
An established and successful business based in Preston with more offices across the North West and down south that have seen huge growth over the past year that now require a CAD Technician to strengthen their current CAD team to support a team of Building Surveyors. The business offer a flexible approach to working hours, have a fun yet hardworking office atmosphere and are keen to progress the careers of their current members of staff.

Your new role
As a CAD Technician You will be office based, working in an environment that will provide you with a modern day feel. They are looking to recruit someone who has a flair for technical drawing and can take on the bulk of the work they have within this discipline, someone who has a consultancy background alongside Building Surveyors would be of advantage for this role.

What you'll need to succeed
You must be proficient with AutoCad and be able to use it confidently without assistance for 2D drawings and previous experience in a similar role is essential. You must be ambitious and driven and be able to manage your own workload.
