Senior Building Surveyor

Chartered Building Surveyor (Newly Qualified up to Associate Director); Leading independent property consultancy in the UK offering agency and professional advice across the Commercial and Residential sectors. Based in the new consultancy office in oxford, the Residential Building Consultancy department is looking to recruit a Building Surveyor to undertake a wide range of instructions across the building consultancy discipline, including; project management and contract administration, surveys, design and project work (including CAD) together with a good working knowledge of CDM 2015. The successful candidate will also be responsible for increasing the range and quantity of instructions via business generation as well as being required to attend events to promote the department and firm amongst clients and professional organisations. This is an extremely exciting and rewarding role that provides the opportunity to work with some of the UK’s finest properties. Having established a strong market share, there is a need to strengthen the existing team. Supporting the Partner responsible for leading the team you will be an effective and influential communicator, assist with business generation as well as having exemplary technical knowledge and experience.

The ideal candidate will be RICS qualified (or equivalent), have a basic understanding of JCT contracts and a full understanding of the components of commercial and residential buildings. We are seeking someone with excellent communication skills, great attention to detail, and the ability to build relationships with other professionals and the general public.
