My client is a specialist within the residential market backed by significant institutional capital. They are currently looking for an acquisitions surveyor with previous experience in a real estate acquisitions role. The ability to organise your own workload and accuracy are both very important in this role as you will often need to work to tight deadlines, while maintaining the high standards of work product expected from the team.

Broad experience of residential new build development is required for the role along with the ability to appraise complex developments, prepare and submit compliant bids to developers and housebuilders. Managing transactions from initial bid to exchange of contracts, managing various stakeholders and consultants through this process. Candidates will have a background in social housing or working for a housebuilder.

The successful candidate will ideally be RICS Qualified however this is not a prerequisite for the role. Successful candidates will need to be motivated individuals who will simply get on with the job and support the head of acquisitions for the London/SE region. Sourcing new opportunities through both existing team contacts and your own network will be a large part of the role.
