Chartered Building Surveyor
This is a superb opportunity for a Chartered Building Surveyor to join a prominent and very successful partnership in Oxford.
About the client;
Established over 50 years ago, our client employs over 600 staff across 11 offices within the UK. They have a strong presence across both public and private sectors with a footprint across some international countries such as Russia, Africa, and the Middle East.
The nature of projects they secure extends to all facets of the business and allows all departments to work in conjunction with one another. Their Oxford office, in particular, employs 150+ staff and provides services ranging from building surveying, town planning, through to cost management, project management, civil engineering and more.
These projects could range from small residential / grade 1 and 2 listed refurbishments, through to large commercial/industrial design & build projects, valued up to £30m.
The opportunity is for a Chartered Building Surveyor looking for an alternative to the monotonous role.
You will encounter 60% project work and 40% professional work, delivering schemes up to £4m. Whether that be providing advice in connection to planning applications, or project managing a major refurbishment. No day will be the same as their client portfolio operates throughout education, residential, commercial, retail and more.
It is important that you are able to demonstrate a fine level of communication and also commercial awareness, with the desire and passion to progress to a more senior level. Experience in working throughout any of the aforementioned sectors and experience in mentoring would be beneficial though not imperative.
