My client is a market leader for acquisition/Investment in the Affordable Housing market and is Backed by a Large PE Firm.

They are increasing there capital and company size at an exponential rate and you will be instrumental to there growth plan.

Description

We are looking for a Senior Acquisitions Associate to join our office-based team in Victoria, London. The ideal candidate will have relevant degree (e.g. finance, real estate etc.) and previous experience in a real estate acquisitions role. The individual must have an excellent eye for sourcing new real estate opportunities and be pro-active in their approach to building a network across the industry. The ability to organise your own workload and accuracy are both very important in this role as you will often need to work to tight deadlines, while maintaining the high standards of work product expected from the team.

Key duties include

• Sourcing new opportunities through both existing team contacts and your own network;

• Managing transactions from initial bid to exchange of contracts, managing various stakeholders and consultants through this process;

• Reviewing and preparing investment appraisals;

• Managing and developing analysts and associates;

• Assisting senior members of the team in delivery of the wider acquisition team strategy;

Profile

• Have a genuine interest in the development process and the residential market with an emphasis on affordable housing;

• Confident individual who can build their own network;

• Proven track record in real estate acquisitions;

• Proficient in the use of excel, with experience of running appraisals;

• Ability to source market information efficiently including engaging with agents;

• Keen to learn and actively participate in a dynamic and constantly adapting environment;

• Ability to communicate clearly and concisely both verbally and in written English;

• Exceptional attention to detail;

• Strong work ethic with the ability to work in a team but also manage junior members of the team.
