Construction Project Manager
Deliver large, mixed use schemes and support the development and implementation of new strategy. Support the Property Manager with the management and development of the projects team.
Rugby Borough Council is driving change with its approach to Investment & Development opportunities and the use of its Assets. With over £35m of significant Cap Ex projects in the pipeline and with more planned for the future, they require commercially astute Project Managers to deliver this vision.
Reporting directly into the head of Property David Collins, a highly regarded Property leader with over 25 year's experience across the sectors, you will be actively supported and developed.

As the Construction Project Manager you will be expected to:
* Deliver projects to in line with the councils strategy to the required standards, timescale & cost
* Be up to date with Project Management processes, procedures and theories
* Prepare initial feasibility studies, project plans, risk registers & specifications
* Support the wider Project Team and develop junior members
* Appoint and manage external design teams
The successful candidate will be a confident, problem solver with a keen interest in all aspects of project delivery. Must have an inquisitive nature and be able to remain adaptable to work through problems and achieve the end goal.
Must be able to confidently engage and negotiate with internal teams and stake holders as well as external consultants and businesses. Must be willing to seek out new challenges and strive to develop.
Construction Management or Building Surveying Degree is Essential
