A specialist within the affordable housing sector and backed by significant institutional capital. They are currently looking for an Acquisitions Surveyor with previous experience in a real estate acquisitions role. The ability to organise your own workload and accuracy are both very important in this role as you will often need to work to tight deadlines, while maintaining the high standards of work product expected from the team.

Demonstrate an ability of having successfully worked on acquiring and delivering complex development sites in London and possess a large enthusiasm for managing risk and finding added value on sites with and without planning permissions. You will be jointly responsible for realising the company's acquisition target and managing the development process within an experienced team of professionals.

Broad experience of managing deal flow and securing sites is required for the role along with the ability to appraise complex developments, prepare and submit compliant bids to developers and housebuilders. Managing transactions from initial bid to exchange of contracts, managing various stakeholders and consultants through this process. Successful candidates will have a Land background and ideally some affordable housing exposure.

The ideal candidate will have relevant degree (e.g. finance, real estate etc.) and previous experience in a real estate acquisitions role at a Developer or Property Company. Must possess a genuine interest in the development / acquisitions process and the residential market with an emphasis on affordable housing.
