Graduate Quantity Surveyor, Kent
An experienced practice of chartered Quantity Surveyors with a forward thinking approach are seeking an intelligent and ambitious Graduate Quantity Surveyor to join their diverse Cost Consultancy team in Kent.
The Company
The Graduate Quantity Surveyor will join a multi disciplinary practice with offices scattered across the South East, giving them a team of 70+. They have a strong reputation in the residential sector as well as many established client relationships throughout the public sector.
The Graduate Quantity Surveyors Role
The successful Quantity Surveyor will specifically be working on a range of mixed use schemes and will be expected to produce bills of quantities and estimate building costs.
- Attending client and design meetings
- Estimating
- Supply chain package procurement
- Reviewing and analysing Tender submissions
- Value Engineering
- Package Procurement and tendering
The Graduate Quantity Surveyor
- Within commutable distance of Beckenham
- Previous cost consultancy experience would be beneficial
- basic pre or post contract knowledge
- Ambitious and professional character
- BSc in a construction related degree
- Committed to the APC
