Framework Manager / Project Manager

THE ROLE

My client seeks a Framework Manager / Project Manager to join them in Southampton and across the South East.

Projects are for a large public sector client and possibly other clients too.

You will work with two stage collaborative working and single stage procurement processes and bel able to demonstrate an understanding of the philisophy of such arrangements.

THE CLIENT

My client is a successful firm of construction consultants mainly focusing on project management and cost management.

Their project management team is growing and they offer good prospects for the right candidates.

THE CANDIDATE

You will need to have a BSc or BSc Hons in Quantity Surveying, Building Surveying, Construction Project Management, Architecture, Engineering or another construction / built environment subject.

Ideally you will be MRICS / MAPM / RIBA / ICE or similarly qualified in construction.

You also need to have at least five years' minimum experience working as a Project Manager post graduation in the construction industry and have a record of delivering successful projects within the public sector.

You should have worked for either a firm of construction consultants or for a public sector client.

You will need to have an understanding of OJEU and be fully conversant with two stage collaborative process.

Ideally you will have project / programme (Prince2 or MSP Foundation / Practitioner lever experience).

My client seeks candidates who have excellent communication skills (both written and spoken), who are enthusiastic and dynamic to deal with challenging projects and demanding clients and able to work without supervision.
