Building Surveyor - Cornwall

Opportunity for a Building Surveyor with fantastic technical experience to join a quasi-public sector set-up

Your new company
As a Technical Building Surveyor you will be joining one of the UK's leading property management companies, a limited private set-up which is wholly owned by the public sector. Your new company manages over 4000 properties, a portfolio worth over £3 billion generating over £700 million in annual income.

Your new role
As a Technical Building Surveyor you will be solely responsible for overseeing work undertaken by a team of specialists which could either be within the planned preventative maintenance programme or reactive day to day repairs. You will be responsible for managing and overseeing compliance in line with all processes and procedures, and will manage and oversee completion of risk assessments prior to undertaking works.

What you'll need to succeed
In order to succeed in this busy and varied position, you will need to have experience in the management of specialist trades staff and contractors, working within a buildings and maintenance environment. You'll need to be able to communicate complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders and be able to implement health and safety standards.

What you'll get in return
In return you will receive an initial starting salary of between £37,000 - £42,000 dependent on your level of experience and qualifications. You'll also be entitled to a wide range of other fantastic benefits including 27 days annual leave, a group personal pension, childcare vouchers and cycle to work scheme.
