Senior Project Manager - Southampton

Are you a highly successful project manager looking to join a diverse, award winning practice?  We specialise in the development and delivery of major projects across most of the main infrastructure sectors, either as an independent project manager or as the leader of a multi-disciplinary team.    This is an exciting position, covering a range of project management roles and responsibilities.

Your Role

• Forge strong working relationships with clients and become part of their integrated project teams

• Involvement in a range of projects, mainly in the defence, education and residential sectors

• Work on a portfolio of development opportunities, ranging from small scale projects to those in excess of £100m, from feasibility / assessment stage to completion / use

• Liaise with the wider, multi-disciplinary team to ensure that WYG remain leaders in our chosen markets

• Deliver a contemporary project management service, focused on client satisfaction
• Able to use modern management techniques to deliver projects successfully

About You

• Full membership of a recognised professional body or committed to achieving full membership (e.g. MAPM or MRICS)

• An industry recognised professional qualification in project management

• Efficient and collaborative approach

• Experience working on major projects with a demonstrable track record of excellent technical delivery

• Experience managing internal and external project teams

• Well developed communication and interpersonal skills, with the capacity to build strong working relationships at all levels

• A strategic thinker with the ability to convey ideas both verbally and in report form to clients, external stakeholders and the design team

• Able to adapt strategies in line with changing priorities
