Trainee / Chartered Surveyor

You will be office based working in the east coast town of Scarborough working alongside the Senior Partners, covering a 25 mile radius, carrying out duties such as valuations, landlord and tenant matters, schedule of condition and dilapidation reports and estate management, to name but a few.

To be considered for the role you will have graduated from one of the recognised universities and ideally have experience working within a chartered surveying practice as part of a university placement.

You will need to deliver timely and pragmatic advice on all property matters and provide a comprehensive range of professional, agency and valuation services to a panel of lenders, landlords, tenants and owner-occupiers and smaller companies and individuals with single assets. 

This Surveyor position will give the successful candidate the opportunity to work with an established team; the work will principally involve a broad range of professional and valuation work as well as disposals and acquisitions.

Graduate with some experience or MRICS qualified

Self-motivated & can work autonomously

Driven with a can-do attitude

Ambitious & career focused

Commercially minded

A high degree of IT literacy is essential, with good presentation skills with strong PowerPoint and Excel experience

Ability to communicate and negotiate with clients and stakeholders

Clean driving licence
