Job Details
Responsibilities for the successful candidate will include:
- Managing scheduling activities on a portfolio of projects in respect to scheduling of projects ranging from a capital investment of €1 million to €50 million
- Interfacing and aligning with key engineering, procurement and construction service providers
- Managing the level 1, 2, 3 and 4 schedules (as required) and setting the main schedule drivers
- Evaluating schedules supplied by contractors and/or suppliers
- Supporting project manager and project team in achieving project deliverables on time and within budget
- Supporting the project manager by identifying and mitigating risk through the use of software such as Pertmaster
- Supporting the project team in providing regular reports
- Acting as a facilitator to chair and manage interactive planning sessions with multidisciplinary teams
Requirements:
- Educated to degree or equivalent
- Ideally member of the Association for Project Management/Chartered Institute of Building
- Excellent working knowledge of Primavera P6, MS Project, Pertmaster
- Knowledge of pharmaceutical product development and manufacturing facilities and plant operations an advantage
- Demonstrated leadership skills necessary to support a high performing group of technical professionals
- Knowledge of functional cGMP requirements in biological and pharmaceutical operations
- Knowledge of design for lean and lean construction
- Client capital management process
- Ability to understand the challenges engineering teams are facing during the engineering phases and related stage gates
- Good technical writing, client-facing and communication skills.
- Ability to communicate complex issues in a clear manner
- Ability to demonstrate a logical approach to problem-solving
- Ability to achieve buy-in to work from clients and other project stakeholders
- Well-organised, diligent, proactive, assertive, well-disciplined and commercially astute.
- A team player with a 'can-do' attitude, outgoing, polite, patient, diplomatic, personable, respectful and flexible
- Ideally fluent in English and French
- Good working knowledge of MS Office suite
