Assistant Director – Head of Building Surveying

£63,330 - £72,410 per annum inclusive

The City Surveyor Department Operations Group is responsible for the delivery of a wide range of construction and professional property services for the City of London Corporation Investment and Corporate property portfolio’s located in the City, West End, adjoining boroughs and other locations such as Epping Forest, Hampstead heath and Burnham Beeches. This includes a mix of iconic, heritage and blue-chip buildings of varying use.

An opportunity has arisen for a Head of Building Surveying (Assistant Director) to lead the teams that provide professional building surveying services. Reporting into the Operations Group Director, you will be suitably qualified with experience in project management, the delivery of programmes of cyclical works, refurbishments and minor improvements. You will be an excellent communicator with strong interpersonal skills and be customer focused. The post requires an excellent level of financial acumen as the analysis, interpretation and forecasting of financial information is required to ensure that business plan targets are achieved.

Candidates require to be qualified to degree level in an associated discipline and Chartered membership of a relevant governing body for example RICS.
