Senior Building Control Surveyor

This role requires you to be able to provide a range of professional and technical skills. The Building Control team is made up of experienced and qualified Surveyors who have great local knowledge and provide practical advice and guidance at every step of the way.
About the Role
As a Senior Building Control Surveyor, you will be highly-experienced dealing with commercial projects, carrying out site inspections and plan checking in compliance with the Building Regulations. You must also ensure that any unauthorised work is brought into compliance and any necessary enforcement action is recommended.
In addition, as a Senior member of staff you will be expected to help lead and provide guidance for other members of the building control team.
What do you need to Succeed?
The ideal candidate will be qualified to degree level, or equivalent, in Building Control/Building Surveying. You will also be a chartered member of RICS/CABE.
You must have 5 years previous Building Control experience, either within a local authority or private consultancy. Previously holding a Senior position would also be advantageous.
