Associate Project Manager
Carriera has been requested to secure an associate project manager to join a leading independent consultancy in Berkshire. The business offers project management, cost management, quantity and building surveying and advisory services. Working through education, commercial, residential, retail, sports and healthcare sectors.
The office in Berkshire is made up of twenty quantity surveyors, at varying levels, and two principal designers. They are looking to employ an associate project manager to build the project management team from the ground up, drive new business and deliver on current frameworks. The existing project management team, in London, is made up of forty people work on a broad range of interesting, fast-paced projects including refurbishments, fit-outs, redevelopments and new builds that span across the aforementioned sectors. Typical project values range from £2 million to £150 million.
You will have prior experience within the commercial, residential, education and retail sectors and will be joining a highly mobile and entrepreneurial business. You will have a construction or related degree and ideally be chartered or affiliated to a professional body. It is essential that you have managed and built teams in the past as well having a strong track record in creating additional revenue streams via new clients or harnessing existing relationships.
