Quantity Surveying and Project Management - Residential, Commercial, Industrial - Assistant Quantity Surveyor

This consultancy are experiencing a period of sustained growth and there is a real opportunity for a Quantity Surveyor to gain MRICS, Director level positions will become available in 10-15 years.

Role: Assistant Quantity Surveyor

Location: Leicester

Salary: £23,000 - £28,000 - APC support and Continued training

Duties: The Assistant Quantity Surveyor will report to the Senior Quantity Surveyor and will assist the Quantity Surveyors on projects from Feasibility to Final Account.

  • Budget Estimates
  • Preparation of Bills of Quantities and Schedules of Work
  • Preparation of contract documents
  • Project meetings
  • Interim valuations
  • Tender analysis
  • Final accounts
  • Employer's Agent duties

Requirements: The Assistant Quantity Surveyor will have completed an RICS accredited Degree in Quantity Surveying or a similar discipline. Experience in a consultancy for 6+ months would be desirable, however, strong communication, willingness to learn and a client-facing nature are required for this role.
