Senior MRICS Building Surveyor - Kent

Our client is a Maidstone (Kent) based firm of Chartered Surveyors and Property Managers, due to expansion in new and existing clientele they are recruiting a Senior Level MRICS Building Surveyor to join their team.

This is a unique and interesting opportunity to join a family owned and run business established in the 1970’s, which has significantly grown over the recent years, and has further expansion plans for the future. They have recently acquired and refurbished new office premises to a bespoke specification which has given them a great new space and hub to operate out of.

The Role

You will be an all-round Building Surveyor, with experience running projects from inception to completion; you will be exposed to a number of key disciplines including

• Project Management
• Party Wall Awards
• Building Regulations
• Defect analysis
• CAD skills are preferable
• Condition reports

The Person

• MRICS
• Several years PQE
• Experienced running projects and managing client expectations
• IT skills
• Strong client facing skills
• Team player
• Well organised and ability to work on one’s own autonomy
• You will oversee a small team that comprise of several assistant building surveyors, currently in the process of completing their APC.

Expect a generous basic salary in the region of £65,000 plus car allowance, bonus and other benefits.
