Project Quantity Surveyor

Capstone are currently recruiting for an independent cost & project management consultancy who are looking for a Project Quantity Surveyor to join their London office.

The business is privately owned and pride themselves with the depth and spread they have across every sector. They have recently restructured and revamped their brand whilst bringing on some fresh ideas into the business. They are forecasting growth by 30% by the end of 2019, coupled with a strong pipeline of work making this is an exciting time to join their team.

The cost management team in London are 60 strong and deliver across the following sectors: commercial, residential, education, hotels & hospitality, healthcare, government, retail, leisure & sport and more.

The role:

You will be joining the cost management team, reporting to either an Associate or Director. You will be expected to assist on pre and post contract duties across commercial, hotels and public sector projects. This includes: pricing and estimating, procurement and tendering documentation, full Bills of Quantities, specification and work schedules and interim valuations. If you are part way through your APC you will be joining the successful in-house training APC programme to ensure that you are fulfilling your competencies and are progressing well towards chartership. Although you will be based and working within the UK, there is opportunity to be sponsored and work in one of the 20 countries across the world where they have offices.

About you:

• Degree in Quantity Surveying
• Previous experience in a similar role acting as Quantity Surveyor on building projects at a consultancy
• MRICS status or working towards
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Client-facing, well presented and well networked
• Eligible to work in the UK.
