Director - Building Surveying

About the role:

Carriera has been retained to secure a Director to the lead the Building Surveying department of a well-regarded Property Consultancy in North London.

The consultancy offers advice and support to discerning investors and landlords in Central and Greater London, as well as the surrounding areas. They work through Commercial, Industrial, Residential and Industrial Sectors, where they provide pre-acquisition, development, management and maintenance services.

This opportunity has been created due the current lead retiring in the next year and the desire to secure an early successor to provide business continuity. The team is 6 strong, made up of 5 professional staff and admin support. They provide a mixture of project and professional services to private residential and commercial clients. Typical projects are up to £500k but can go larger, professional services are a full array of party wall instructions, dilapidations, surveys and expert witness.

There will be a shareholding made available in the short to mid-term dependent upon your success.

About you:

You will be a chartered building surveyor with the RICS and are likely to have 5 plus years PQE. It is expected that you will be used to working with domestic clients, developers and investors. Where you will have managed relationships, won work and grown the fee income for a practice.

In return you will be given a solid basic, car allowance, pension, healthcare, life assurance and a bonus that will pay up to 50% of basic and more for exceptional company performance.
