Job Details

My client is a very well-funded and entrepreneurial developer in London. They are currently looking for a Land Buyer to expand their existing landbank for mainly residential use. This client will offer career progression and an ample amount of resources to execute land deals. This is a role for an ambitious and hungry land buyer who enjoys sourcing land and securing the deal.

My client typically acquires sites between £1-20m within London and the home counties for sites that can hold 20-200 units. They are relatively open to either unconditional or conditional sites and take part in joint ventures and promotion agreements. You will be mainly purchasing land within the M25 patch.

Key responsibilities:

  • Identifying and sourcing land for residential use
  • Building and utilising existing contact base of land owners/agents
  • Carrying out appraisals and due diligence
  • Liaising with the planning and development team

You ideally will have/be:

  • A track record of land deals for residential use
  • A contact base and knowledge in the London area and within the M25
  • A strong understanding of land acquisition
  • Educated to degree level
  • Great communication and negotiation skills
