Assistant QS Surveyor

The Role

I am working exclusively with one of my top UK Clients. They are looking for an Assistant Quantity Surveyor with approximately 2-4 years' experience to join their Birmingham office. The role would suit someone looking to progress within their career, would begin to have more autonomy over some smaller projects, whilst still having the supervision of seniors. You would have a relatively low level of responsibility to begin with, and can decide how soon you would like to handle more work. You would be expected to visit site often, meet clients and get involved with a multitude of sectors.

About You

Ideally you would have some experience within commercial/residential/hotels or retail/education. You would be ambitious, happy to get involved both with the team and be responsible for your own work. You would be exposed to early stages within the life cycle of projects and closing final accounts, giving you great all round experience. This is ideally a great role for a current Assistant QS who is being underused in their current role and wants a new challenge.

My Client

Salary £35k-£45k + car allowance + pension

My Client specialises within Quantity Surveying but also offers Employers Agent roles and Project Management. They are expanding are open to individuals that don't quite fit the profile. They offer full APC support from start to finish, with external examiners coming in fortnightly to purely give advice and answer any questions you may have.

They are offering an above market package to find a suitable person within the next month.
