THE ROLE
My client seeks a Project Manager or Senior Project Manager to join them in London to work mainly on a good range of high value residential based projects across London and the South East.
You will carry out the full range of pre contract and post contract services from feasibility through project delivery.
They are working on a range of residential projects for student accommodation, later living, build to rent, prime residential, high rise, mixed use etc.
A great opportunity to get involved in construction projects ranging in value from around £4m to £300m.
THE CLIENT
My client is a successful firm of construction consultants mainly focusing on project management and cost management.
Their project management team is growing and they offer good prospects for the right candidates.
THE CANDIDATE
You will need to have a BSc or BSc Hons in Quantity Surveying, Building Surveying, Construction Project Management or another construction / built environment subject.
You also need to have at least three years' minimum experience working as a Project Manager post graduation in the construction industry.
You should have worked for any of the following:- Construction Consultants, End user client, Developer, Multi disciplinary consultants or possibly with a main contractor.
You will ideally have either started your diary and be working towards taking the RICS APC or be keen to work towards becoming chartered or already be chartered.
Any previous experience of working on high value residential projects would be useful but project managers who have worked on large commercial projects with the right attitude will also be seriously considered.
My client seeks candidates who have excellent communication skills (both written and spoken), who are enthusiastic and dynamic to deal with challenging projects and demanding clients.
Salary will be in the region of £45000 to £65000 per annum + benefits.
