The Company

We are excited to be recruiting exclusively for a leading firm of property specialists, to be based from their office in Warwickshire.

With a strong client base of residential, commercial and rural clients across the UK, the business provides a full service across property, land and estate services; boasting an impressive portfolio of projects across the spectrum.

Offering a genuine opportunity to add value and drive change in a supportive environment, you will receive a generous remuneration package (with car/car allowance and bonus) and encouraged work/life balance to include flexible and home working.

The Role

There is now a rare opportunity for an experienced Town Planner to spearhead the Planning and Development arm of the business; playing a pivotal role in the continued success of the team.

Your role will be essential in leading the development and growth of this business area.  With several existing projects and with a well-established client-base, this role will have more of a focus on delivering work to a high standard whilst maintaining and building upon existing relationships with clients (rather than new business development).

Working on a wide variety of schemes, your new role will involve:

  • Managing multiple projects, involving project management
  • Providing town planning consultancy to clients
  • Residential and commercial development
  • Preparation and submission of planning application and appeals
  • Reviewing estate-wide planning opportunities and providing strategic advice
  • Leading a small team of planners with the view to growing the team

The Candidate

The successful candidate will be a Chartered Town Planner with significant planning experience (from either a public or private sector background). Above all, you will have a natural ability to build strong relationships and be driven and motivated to grow and develop a successful team.

In return, you will work for a forward thinking, progressive organisation, offering a competitive salary, lots of autonomy and a clear route for progression.
