Building Inspector

Specialising within the Insurance & Warranty sector this business have grown tremendously over the 20 years (+) they have been operating. This growth has been at a steady rate but has allowed them to gain a real presence within the market. They are now looking to recruit a Building Inspector either from a Building Control Surveyor or Clerk of Works background to based in East Anglia.

The Company

Their key clients include; builders, developers and private clients within the residential and commercial sectors. They currently employ over 350 members of staff and approximately 200 of these are field-based technical staff. This role fits within the Inspection side of the team.

The Role

• Ensure building construction is in line with Building Regulations, H&S and Technical Manuals.
• Writing up reports from site inspections.
• Provide technical advice to clients and those on site.
• Cover of a Regional patch - within Swansea.

Requirements

• Ideally Chartered; RICS /CIOB / CABE / LICWCI.
• Excellent understanding of UK Building Regulations and the Building Control process.
• Good background within Inspection.
