Are you an experienced property and buildings records information manager? Do you have experience liaising and communicating with a variety of internal and external stakeholders at all levels? Do you have experience and demonstrable knowledge with building information management systems and CAD? 

If so, we have an excellent opportunity to join UKAEA responsible for the compilation, recording and reporting of technical and other data in relation to our current and future buildings and estates assets. 

We are seeking someone who can play a lead role in planning and transferring all current and future data into our computerised estates management system and manage the system and input of data thereafter. You will be tasked in reviewing the current systems and recommending as well as implementing new building systems as required. 

We are currently experiencing rapid growth, with a range of buildings on site under construction. This is a perfect opportunity for someone who is keen to make a direct contribution to the property department, implementing and reviewing buildings information as required. 

Key areas of responsibility will include: 

-Ensure that UKAEA has an accurate set of record drawings of its buildings, estate and infrastructure and that those records are appropriately filed and safely stored 

-Formulate and manage a QA compliant system to manage the update, storage and dissemination of ERO records to stakeholders on site. 

-Actively pursue issues relating to out of date drawings or duplicated drawings and resolve them. 

-Take full ownership for a project to standardise records which are currently held, in a variety of formats ranging from historic paper records, Microfiche, CAD drawings and BIM (Building Information Management) models. 

-Management and maintenance of the UKAEA planning permission records to ensure that UKAEA planning obligations are met and adhered to 

-Ensure ongoing records management and data capture is fit for purpose, and legally compliant.

Knowledge skills and experience 

Essential 
-Demonstrable experience of using CAD 
-Some property information management systems experience is required 
-Construction and / or a building services related qualification or relevant experience 
-Impeccable attention to detail 
-Excellent communication skills at all levels of an organisation 
-Previous complex reporting experience 
-Problem solving and solutions focussed individual 
-Good level Microsoft office experience as well as knowledge of databases 

Desirable 
-Previous experience implementing and / or technically reviewing property related IT systems 
-Ideally a member of a relevant professional body (e.g. RICS, BIFM, etc.) however this is not essential
