Do you have a track record of delivering planned maintenance programmes?
A Surrey based local authority are recruiting for a building surveyor on an interim basis. You'll be responsible for managing planned maintenance based social housing projects. Over the next 5 years the organisation are delivering a number of projects ranging from:
- kitchen & bathroom replacements,
- Roofing works,
- Internal & external decorations
- Other major works
The team will be responsible for projects totalling over £5million across the next 5 years. The ideal candidate will hold a recognised qualification in building construction or surveying, a demonstrable track record of working within local authority/public sector environments. Previous experience with social housing is also essential. Due to the expansion of the planned maintenance programme there will be a strong possibility of a contract extention beyond the initial term.
