Senior Building Surveyor

A significant opportunity has come about for a chartered building surveyor to join a well-established consultancy based in Crawley. With 25 years of service to the property and construction industry. The business we are representing employ over 100 staff across 8 offices in the UK. Their experience and knowledge are considered as unrivaled throughout the commercial space, as this is where a majority of their business is generated.

80% of their client base has been developed within the private sector, typically working with Landlords, Occupiers, Developers & Investors. Whether it's managing a portfolio of assets or investing in commercial property. The business has an exceptional service offering, compelled of technical and forward thinking professionals, who are able to deliver extensive advice on some of the most complex projects.

This opportunity would be ideal for those wishing to eliminate the morning commute into London and be based closer to home. More so, this will not eliminate your involvement with London, as you’ll be expected to deliver some projects on occasion. The Crawley office employs around 20 strong including support staff. The building consultancy team are a handful strong, led by an inspirational partner who has a wealth of industry knowledge.

The role will be to support the partner on a number of exciting projects, nurturing and developing new and existing client relationships. The work you will encompass will be varied, delivering projects from a few hundred thousand to multi million pound projects. This will be predominantly a project focused role, where you will oversee projects from the pre-acquisition stage, through to final completion. Typical duties you may encompass are:

•    Project Monitoring

•    Dilapidations

•    Party Wall Matters

•    PPM Programmes.

You will be a chartered building surveyor, who is used to taking instructions from clients and delivering a quality service. You will have a solid track record in the private sector, having honed your skills in private practice.
