Job Details

This is an exciting opportunity for a new Building Community Manager to oversee a large prominent city centre office building.

Job Purpose:
- Ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction through building effective community engagement and communication initiatives to address the needs and concerns of the occupiers of the building.
- Network with the external community acting as an ambassador for the property.
- Directing the onsite team and contractors on the day to day building management

Key areas of responsibility:
- Create an occupier community to help understand occupier needs and requirements through proactive engagement and identify additional services such as car valet, dry cleaning pick up, pop up retail etc which can be provided at the office building.
- Negotiate with local retailers special offers and services at the property and disseminating the discounts/ services via social media/ email.
- Actively engage in social media for the property as a communication and promotional tool.
- To assist in the content management of the building portal and report on site stats and put forward proposals for development.
- Monitor services provided by competing office buildings.
- Attend agency meetings and assist agents with viewings with potential tenants and provide building information where requested.
- To manage the front of house concierge and security to proactively and efficiently deliver service to the building.
- To help identify cost saving and more efficient working practices and advise the Facilities Manager as appropriate.
- To assist the facilities manager actively managing and monitoring contractors on the site and reporting on the performance of those contractors.

To be successful in this role, you will need to be a personable and outgoing individual. It is likely you will degree educated and have gained experience in marketing, retail, hospitality, or events.

It is essential that you have excellent skills in using Microsoft Office, and the use of all social media for commercial purposes.

Experience in event coordination/management and/or marketing would be beneficial.
