Job Details
We have been instructed to search for an Analyst to assist in researching new markets for a Listed UK Real Estate Investment Trust headquartered in London.
Our client is a FTSE 100 Listed REIT with assets located in Europe and the UK. They have a solid and successful track record in acquiring and actively asset managing assets such as retail, hotels, offices, sheds, mixed use and alternative assets. They also manage assets on behalf of separate mandate clients as well as investing with partners on a joint venture basis. There is currently c. £1 billion AUM with more in the pipeline.
The successful candidate will sit between the senior management and accounts teams and form a key part of the company’s plans for expansion.by scenario planning, forecasting, modelling, writing strategy papers, presenting ideas and developing new markets.
Requirements:
- Around 6-12 months’ experience in a commercial property company undertaking a similar role
- Strong numerical skills with the ability to model from scratch confidently
- Confident and articulate personality with strong communication skills – you will be required to present your thoughts and ideas on a regular basis
- Exposure to the Listed property sector - highly desirable but not essential
- Relevant professional qualification e.g. CFA, ACCA
- 2:1/1:1 in relevant property/finance-related degree from a red brick university
