Senior Quantity Surveyor - Client Side

Location: South West London

Salary offer: £70,000 - £80,000 + Bonus + Benefits

A privately-owned, award winning, developer have an excellent opportunity for an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join the team. The organisation focuses on regenerating, developing and investing in property, in London and globally.

The majority of their projects are within the commercial office sector but they also do develop within the residential, hotel and retail sectors.

The client is looking for a high-profile individual with experience across a range of sectors to join at senior level. Ideally you will be able to demonstrate a proactive approach towards cost management strategies and be in the position to grow a team in the future. You will also have the ability to operate in either a contractor or developer capacity dependant on the size of the project.

Key Responsibilities:

• Take order of cost model and develop into a detailed Cost Plan - split by packages.
• Strong understanding of construction sequencing and detailing - understanding the relationship between how the job is done and how much it will cost. Utilise this knowledge to drive value engineering - able to offer alternatives that reflect and reinforce the concept.
• Contract negotiations
