Midweight Interior Designer (Luxury Residential & Hospitality) | London | Perm

An award-winning, International design studio in London are looking for a Midweight Interior Designer to join their studio on a permanent basis. Our client works on high-end London and International projects within the Residential and Hospitality sectors, producing significant projects with emphasis on exquisite design & detail. This boutique studio is very collaborative with an emphasis on social events and integrating everyone into an award team.

The ideal person will have proficient experience working in a UK studio on high-end residential & hospitality projects and have knowledge of working across all design stages. FF&E supplier knowledge is also preferred. Portfolio must demonstrate projects of the highest quality.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

In this role, you will:

• Lead a team of Designers on the concept designand delivery of projects
• Past experience of job running
• Work on high-end projects to the highest standards
• Develop drawings as per the project requirements
• Liaise with the client as required
• Prepare drawing packages
• Survey existing sites as required
• Produce CAD drawings in AutoCAD& Revit (past projects on Microstation)
• Work from quirky London office
• Enjoy an excellent social environment

RELATED JOB REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS:

The following requirements are essential to this position:

• Architecture/Interior Design degreefrom a recognised design University
• Over 3-years UK practice experience
• Proficient knowledge of high-end residential & hospitality projects
• Excellent working knowledge of AutoCAD, Revit and Microstation
• Excellent working knowledge of Adobe CS, Sketch Up
• Able to clearly communicate your drawings & explain concept narrative
• Drawing package experience
• Astute attention to detail
• Portfolio of work that communicates your experience of the above
• Only candidates eligible to work in the UK will be accepted

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:

• Strong freehand sketching ability
• FF&E supplier knowledge
