Your new employer is a commercial property management consultancy operating out of 3 offices in the West Midlands. They cover multiple services including Valuation and Building Surveying, Asset Management, Investment and Sales & Lettings to name a few. This company offers a fantastic opportunity for a self-motivated and ambitious Building Surveyor to join a fantastic team based in Wolverhampton.

Your new role

You will be joining Surveying team and your work will be regional as well as national. This position will offer a variety of commercial work, ranging from retail to industrial, along with some niche projects. Volumes and values will vary, with largest projects reaching value of £13mil. Your role will focus on dilapidations and schedules of condition, party walls, project management, feasibility studies and building surveys. You will be required to prepare technical drawings using AutoCAD. There will also be an opportunity to work on some historical buildings for conservation/preservation purposes.

You will require fantastic knowledge of market and current changes, be proactive in attitude to securing new clients and want to build a reputation of market expert. What you'll need to succeed

You will ideally be 3 years post qualification at a minimum and be MRICS qualified, however candidates who are coming to the end of their APC will be considered. You must also have full clean driving license. What you'll get in return

The client offers a competitive salary between £35,000 to £48,000 plus benefits including car/car allowance and flexible working hours. They are looking to support a candidate in building a reputation and future career progression in constantly developing their career along with the business.
